Dan Seals Condemns Assassination of Benazir Bhutto

Deerfield, IL-Today, Democratic candidate for Congress Dan Seals released the following statement on the assassination of former Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto.
“The death of Ms. Bhutto is a setback for democracy and stability in Pakistan. I condemn this cowardly act in the strongest terms.
“I hope that Pakistan’s loss gives new life to Pakistan’s push for democracy. It must not let this act of cowardice become a reason to turn away from democracy. Doing so would make this an even greater tragedy.”
